Coffee with “X”

We are thrilled to host YEAR 2 of the COFFEE WITH “X” event in Manitoba! A 2-week celebration of the local coffee and food culture in Manitoba. The event will take place at participating local establishments on October 22 - November 6, 2022

We are in search of THE BEST COFFEE DRINK IN MANITOBA & THE BEST FOOD that pairs with coffee PLUS supporting an important cause!

  • Participating local businesses will craft their coffee drink and/or food entry.

  • Customers will visit the event participants’ location to purchase their coffee and/or food entry.

  • Customers can vote online for their choices. Check back for this year’s participants and delicious entries and SIP. SAVOUR. SUPPORT. by purchasing their entries and voting, or simply by sharing this event. Every little bit helps in keeping the cycle of support going for local businesses! VOTE for your favourites from October 22 to November 6!

Through Coffee with “X”, it is our hope to:

  • raise awareness and help elevate local coffee businesses and the coffee and food culture in Manitoba

  • give opportunities to locally owned businesses to gain exposure in the local market and further their reach

  • find the best coffee drink and its perfect food pairing

  • generate funds to donate to important causes through a registered local charity. Last year, the two main category winners each received a $500 cash prize, trophy, plaque and gift basket. The second category winners each received gift baskets and awards. We also donated $2000 to End Homelessness, a local organization, as selected by Cake-ology, the top voted participant in 2021.

For our local business participants, it is also our hope that this event provides an avenue to reach and engage more customers and make Manitoban’s aware of the rich coffee and food culture we have in our province! Coffee with “X” is new, it’s fun, and we hope to help boost local businesses and build a strong and engaged community!
