“This is a decadent chocolate shortbread cookie topped in Mordens of Winnipeg semi-sweet & milk chocolate. They are both sweet with a bit of salt and very rich tasting. These cookies take a while to make as the dough needs to be rolled and cooled prior to cutting into shapes and baking. Once baked they are cooled and topped with chocolate and cooled one last time before being packaged individually. They have a long shelf life of two weeks at room temperature but can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer. These cookies pair perfectly with your favourite coffee which is why I have entered them in this event, plus coffee is my all time favourite beverage!"
